Sculptural Landmark, Elah Valley

Competition 2nd prize, 2003

Captioned "David's Victory", the competition called for a monument overlooking the Elah valley, where the famous legend takes place. Undermining the implicit nationalist motivation, this sculptural structure titled Uplifted abstracts the epic into an overcoming of gravity. Owing to the fact that it was favored by potential donors, the design was commissioned to be structurally analyzed and proven feasible.
