Masterplan, 2021-24 – with arch. A. Ofek

Following a new program by the municipality, the mixed-use plot at the heart of the neighborhood was redesignated as a cultural center. Since it remained vacant for many years and became an informal communal gathering place, the design strategy was to lower the mass and leave the space as open as possible, utilzing the underground for most of the main auditorium volume while creating a sloping roof as an accessible new ground.
