Concrete and Culture

Book Translation into Hebrew, 2024

As a pursuer of meaning in matter and a former student of Adrian Forty – who was my professor and supervised my Master's dissertation at the Bartlett, UCL – I seized the opportunity to translate his most recent book into Hebrew, when suggested by my friend and colleague Or Aleksandrowicz, editor of the Architectures series at Babel publishers. Daring both a wide-angle overview and a close-up observation, Forty manages to bring together an invaluable body of knowledge, as well as a taste of a passing age, in this insightful analysis of concrete and its ever-changing signification.
