Only a brief introductory exercise to the semester, this project dealing with architectural identity holds a special role in my oeuvre nevertheless, prefiguring my future interest in the relation between building and ground, later to become the subject of my Master's thesis. Built around a particular olive tree in the Valley of the Cross, it touches the ground in two points only, cantilevered over the mild slope, towards the view.
