This portfolio showcases more than three decades of architectural thought and practice, being engaged in various aspects of the discipline, working on different building types and scales, and formulating my own stand in the expanded field.

Drawing on this extensive experience, I still approach each project as an experiment -- merging the past with the present, the analytical with the intuitive, the familiar with the unexplored.

+ + +

Following my basic architectural studies, I spent a number of apprenticeship years in local firms, after which I undertook further studies abroad, at the Bartlett, UCL, London.

Since my return home I divide my time between practicing and teaching: initially at bezalel academy of arts and design, and, in recent years, at the technion faculty of architecture, leading MArch final thesis projects, in a studio dealing with some of the most urgent questions of the day in our Israeli environment.

An important part of this oeuvre is dedicated to architectural competitions, both local and international, in which I took part over the years, with prize-winning entries displayed in numerous exhibitions and publications.

Drawn to gravity as the origin of architectural motivation, my academic writing, as well as my structural-sculptural work, explore the possible significance of built posture and the relation between building and ground.
